Here we go! First article is underway. Got some good stuff this week: the Free Tune (which is a drifting beast), a new poll, and other such things.
Let's get to the boring stuff before the tune. Some ideas have been swimming through my head after reading some of your comments, and I want to put some out there and see what you think. ID Lizard gave me a few ideas, such as reviews on a few cars released on the Forums that week and having other readers sumbit their own stories/articles. I personally think these are two GREAT ideas and I'm going to try to get them started asap. Also, paterson bros gave another great idea; a weekly feature of a drift team in our community. So, what do you think?
Moving on to the fun stuff. This week's tune has been (and always will be) one of my personal favorites. Very simple, yet extremely agile. It is...(drumroll...) the Mazda RX-7 Gen 3, tuned to drift circles around your opponents while maintaining it's "street-legal" status (I'm not exactly sure if the criteria is right, but it's damn close. ). This baby is perfect for the short/medium tracks and corners, such as Tsukuba, Silverstone, Mugello, Boomslang, even Malayian Krait. I can't stress how much I love this car and the way it attacks the track. Here ya go!!
Last order of business. If we go ahead with some of these ideas, I'm going to need a few writters and test drivers that are active. If you're interested, PM me on the FM.net Forums.
That's all for this week. It'll get MUCH more beefy once some features are figured out and worked in.
Thanks,
